New Music: Aloe Blacc - I need a dollar

We've been waiting to tell you about Aloe Blacc. This American soul singer, rapper and musician released a new video for his song 'I need a dollar'. For our American readers the song can sound familiar because it's used as the intro for the HBO serie 'how to make it in America'. We're not the only fans of Aloe Blacc: according to an article from the independent, Aloe Blacc is one of the most blogged artists of the moment.

The 10 most blogged artists on The Hype Machine on April 6 at 10:00am GMT (withchange in position from April 2):

? Delorean (-3)
? The Aston Shuffle (new)
? Twin Sister (+3)
? Hot Chip (+2)

Liz 'n Teezii Art

We wouldn't be Nothing 2 blog if we did not have the newest art for you. The two most recent (and freshest) paintings the duo Liz 'n Teezii created are called: 'Paris nights, Ibiza moments' and 'choose a color'. They used mixed media techniques and we must say the result is realy dazzling. Hot, hot, hot!

Paris Nights, Ibiza Moments

'Paris Nights, Ibiza Moments' is a multicolor collage/ painting.
Experience the risqué nights in Paris and feel the hippie vibe.

(measurement: 120 x 100 cm)

Choose color to see

'Choose color to see' contains a black and white themed collage.
The painting is accentuated with red and contains the proposition:
'if you could only see black and white except for one color what color would you choose to see'. As stylish as can be.

(measurement: 120 x 100 cm)

(!) The paintings are still for sale (!)
Do you want to buy one?
Or do you prefer your own customized painting with your own theme and color?

New music: Jamaica - I think I like u 2

We think we may have found a potential summer hit. Jamaica consists members Antoine Hilaire and Flo Lyonnet. A couple of years ago they made music under the name 'Poney Poney', but for now they debuted as 'Jamaica'. Their first single is very fresh and so is their music video. The video is directed by So Me (who you might know from videoclips of Justice etc). So funny. You got to love it.

Fashionable Illustrations

We love fashion, we love illustrations so it's no surprise we love the fashionable illustrations of Carine Brancowitz. We just ran into these illustrations and fell in love immediately. It's hard to pick some favorites, but we gave it a try.

Karl Lagerfeld makes a statement.

Chanel catwalk fall/winter 2010

We love Karl. The designer was sending an ecological sign to the world against the global warming during his fashion show called 'Global Cooling'. The models were walking down the runway through icebergs. Besides Karl decided to use only fake fur for his collection. Wow, wow, wow. 'You can not fake chic, but you can be chic in fake fur' - Karl Lagerfeld

Meet multi-genre duo J*Davey

Caught up with multi-genre duo J*Davey from Los Angeles. We must give them credits for their unique sound. It's like a combination of hip hop, soul, electronica, fusion, jazz, new wave and r&b. Hm, maybe you should listen to their new single to find out what we mean.
